Paper Submission Guidelines
Authors are invited to submit original research contributions aligned with the
technical tracks of BioBIS 2027.
All submissions must comply with the following requirements:
- All submissions must be written in English.
- Authors should use the official BioBIS 2027 submission template provided by the conference.
- Each submission must follow the specified formatting, page size, margins, font, heading, figure, table, and reference requirements.
- At least one of the authors listed in the manuscript must be properly registered in the conference submission system.
- One author must be designated as the corresponding author for each submission.
- The corresponding author will serve as the primary contact between the authors and the BioBIS 2027 Organizing Committee.
- Authors are responsible for ensuring that all information provided during submission is accurate and complete.
- Submissions that do not comply with the prescribed formatting or submission requirements may be returned to the authors for correction or may be excluded from the review/publication process.
Submission Information
Extended Abstract: The initial submission to BioBIS 2027 will be a
two-page extended abstract. Requirements are:
- Language: English

The extended abstract should clearly present:
- Title
- Abstract
- Keywords
- Introduction
- Methodology
- Results and Discussions
- Conclusions
- References
Important: The initial extended abstract will undergo peer review by the
conference’s reviewers/technical committee. Authors should ensure that the submission contains sufficient
technical and scientific information for reviewers to evaluate the work.
Official BioBIS 2027 Extended Abstract Template
Microsoft Word (.docx), two-page IEEE-style layout. The author guidelines inside the template
must be deleted before submission.
Initial Submission Process
All extended abstracts must be submitted through the BioBIS 2027 EasyChair submission system,
accessible through the official conference website. Before submitting, authors should:
- Prepare the extended abstract using the prescribed template.
- Ensure that the submission falls within one of the BioBIS 2027 technical tracks.
- Select appropriate keywords to facilitate reviewer assignment.
- Enter the complete and accurate information for all authors in the submission system.
- Designate one author as the corresponding author.
- Upload the final two-page extended abstract before the submission deadline.
Note: No submissions will be accepted after the deadline unless an official extension is
announced by the Organizing Committee.
Peer Review
All submitted extended abstracts will be evaluated through a peer-review process by experts in
relevant fields. The review may consider:
- Scientific and technical quality
- Originality and novelty
- Relevance to the selected technical track
- Methodological soundness
- Significance and potential impact
- Clarity and organization of the submission
The final acceptance decision will be made by the BioBIS 2027 scientific/technical committee based on the
review process.
Author Responsibilities
The corresponding author is responsible for coordinating the submission on behalf of all co-authors.
This includes:
- Ensuring that the submission is complete and submitted before the deadline.
- Ensuring that all author information is accurate.
- Communicating conference-related information to all co-authors.
- Responding to requests from the Organizing Committee.
- Completing registration and publication requirements, where applicable.
- Ensuring that the accepted work is presented at the conference.
- Coordinating the preparation and submission of the full paper, if the work is selected for post-conference publication.
The corresponding author should ensure that all co-authors have reviewed and approved of the submitted work.
Paper Presentation and No-Show Policy
An accepted submission that is included in the final conference program is expected to be presented by one of
its authors at the scheduled time. The presentation format and schedule will be determined and shared by the
Organizing Committee later.
If no one is able to present the work due to an unforeseen circumstance, non-authors who anticipate that no
listed author will be able to attend and present should contact the Organizing Committee
as early as possible and provide appropriate justification. Failure to present an accepted
paper without prior notification may result in the submission being treated as a no-show and
may affect its eligibility for post-conference publication.
Conference Proceedings
Selected extended abstracts will be published in the official BioBIS 2027 Online Conference Proceedings.
Publication in the conference proceedings is subject to:
- Acceptance of the extended abstract
- Completion of the required author registration
- Compliance with the conference’s publication requirements
- Presentation of the accepted work at the conference, where applicable
The Organizing Committee reserves the right to exclude submissions that do not satisfy the applicable
publication requirements.
Post-Conference Procedures
Post-Conference Full Paper Publication
Following the conference, selected high-quality contributions may be invited to submit
full-length papers for publication consideration.
IEEE Xplore
Selected top-tier full papers may be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore, subject to:
- Acceptance by the BioBIS 2027 Publication Committee
- Compliance with IEEE publication requirements
- Compliance with the applicable IEEE conference publication standards
- Successful completion of all required publication procedures
- Meeting IEEE’s scope, quality, and technical requirements
Maximum Length: 5 pages, excluding references. Authors must use the prescribed IEEE
conference paper template for the full paper.
Important: Acceptance at BioBIS 2027 does not by itself guarantee publication in IEEE Xplore.
Final inclusion in IEEE Xplore is subject to the applicable IEEE publication and quality-control requirements.
AJSE Journal Special Issue
Selected high-quality full papers may also be invited for consideration in a
special issue of the Arabian Journal of Science and Engineering (AJSE). Selection for the
journal special issue will be based on the quality, originality, technical contribution, and relevance of
the submitted full paper. Invitation to submit a full paper does not guarantee acceptance
for journal publication. All invited manuscripts will be subject to the journal’s applicable editorial and
peer-review process.
